What are Bumper Crop Soils & Amendments?
Bumper Crop is a line of natural and organic soil builders, conditioners, and specialty mixes made by Master Nursery (EB Stone & Son, Inc.). These products are formulated to support soil health by adding a rich base of organic matter, improving drainage and aeration, and feeding beneficial soil organisms. Many of the products are CDFA listed for organic use, which means they meet strict standards for purity and composition.
Key Ingredients & Their Benefits
Bumper Crop mixes use a variety of high-quality organic materials. Some of the most common are:
- Bat guano offers phosphorus and encourages flowering and fruiting
- Kelp meal delivers trace minerals and can improve stress resistance in plants
- Other amendments like peat moss, aged bark, compost, or shell meals enhance moisture retention, soil texture, and nutrient release
